Samsung has updated its PRO Plus lineup of SD and microSD cards, increasing the read/write speeds to up to 180 MBps reads and 130 MBps writes. The microSD cards come with a guaranteed minimum write speed of 30 MBps, while the SD cards come with a V30 video speed class rating, guaranteeing a minimum write speed of 30 MBps even under worst-case conditions. Samsung is also offering select SKUs with a bundled USB 3.0 card reader. The PRO Plus lineup includes a 512GB SKU for the microSD cards and tops out at 256GB for the SD cards. Samsung is targeting professional users with the durability of the cards and a 10-year warranty.
