New iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max
Apple just announced 3 new iPhones to replace last years iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Let’s go over their differences, prices, and whether you should buy one.
The New iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be replacing last years models come September 20th when they go on sale. Apple focused on improving last years phones instead of any major upgrades to them. With that we get new cameras, larger batteries and improved efficiency. All 3 new iPhones come with an extra camera compared to last years models. The all new 12MP Ultra-Wide camera on the rear of all the iPhones will allow you to include even more content in your photos without having to step back or adjust your position. The front camera has also been updated to 12MP from 7MP on all three iPhones and includes 4k video recording at 60fps. A New feature called Night Mode will allow your new iPhone to take pictures in the dark and expose more content in those pictures making them brighter and clearer than before. With these upgraded cameras on all New iPhones you can expect to take excellent pictures without having to adjust any settings.
The new iPhones as contain larger batteries and improved CPUs. This is said to increase battery life by 1 hour in the iPhone 11, 4 hours in the iPhone 11 Pro and 5 hours in the iPhone 11 Pro Max, making these the longest lasting iPhones Apple has ever made. The new CPU called A13 is also said to be 20% faster then last years A12.
Now lets move on to a more important topic, should you purchase the New iPhone 11 ($699), iPhone 11 Pro ($999) or iPhone 11 Pro Max ($1099). Well that’s a hard topic and there are very many different aspects that can go into that decision. Lets go over them. First if your old phone is broken and you can’t get it repaired then I would recommend any of the new 3 iPhones. The iPhone 11 is a great budget but has all the features iPhone. This is the iPhone most people will buy as its $300 cheaper then the iPhone 11 Pro and $400 cheaper then the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but still has all the great new features of those phones. I see the only real reason to buy the iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max being the screen as its a OLED screen as in past high end iPhones. This is only the case if you spend most of your day looking at your phone or watching videos on your phone. If you are an average person who uses their phone for work or some social media then the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are not worth the additional money just to get a third camera and brighter OLED screen. If you have the iPhone X, iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max I can’t recommend upgrading to any of the new phones unless your use your phone a lot for picture taking and video recording as these are the main advantages of the higher end iPhones.
All in all it is your money and decision at the end of the day. If you decide to purchase a new iPhone congratulations and enjoy!
