RTX 5090 Price Estimate…

Nvidia’s next-gen RTX 5090 graphics cards, expected in early 2025, have been priced in industrial AI servers by system integrator Comino. A server with eight RTX 5090 cards is priced at 50,000 euros ($52,700 USD), while a six-card version costs 40,000 euros ($42,200 USD). This implies a cost of around $6,500 per card in the server setup.

However, these prices reflect business-to-business infrastructure hardware, including high-end processors (like AMD Threadripper Pro), support, and services, rather than consumer retail pricing. Historically, similar servers have carried high markups, with prices per card significantly exceeding consumer retail costs.

Speculative estimates suggest consumer prices for the RTX 5090 could exceed $2,500, far above the approximate $1,100 derived from server pricing math. The actual retail cost will depend on Nvidia’s pricing strategy and factors like server customization and cooling setups.
