Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super...
Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4070 Super, unveiled a week after CES 2024, is set to launch with a $599 price tag. The graphics card boasts a 20% increase in CUDA, ray tracing, and tensor cores, resulting in a substantial gaming performance boost, matching the previous generation's RTX 3090 flagship. The card outpaces the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, previously a strong competitor. Nvidia's AI technologies, including DLSS, Frame Generation, and RTX Video Super Resolution, further enhance frame rates in supported games. The RTX 4070 Super excels in ray tracing, surpassing the RX 7800 XT by 47%. The total graphics power is increased to 220 watts, with a transition to Nvidia's 16-pin power connector. Despite the power increase, the graphics card remains tailored for 1440p gaming, featuring 12GB of memory over a 192-bit bus. The original RTX 4070 will still be available at a reduced price of $549, providing a competitive option against the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT.
