Amazon New Palm Scanner...
Amazon One, the palm scanning technology used for payments, has received an upgrade. It now includes a feature that verifies the age of users, allowing them to purchase drinks without presenting their IDs. Amazon recently announced this new capability on its website, aiming to address the inconvenience of using one's hand to pay for alcohol only to later retrieve and display an identification card. When a customer over the age of 21 places their hand on an Amazon One point-of-sale device, the software will process the payment and confirm the customer's legal age. The first location to implement this palm-based age verification feature will be Coors Field, the baseball stadium in Denver, home of the Colorado Rockies.
