Windows 10 won’t receive any more feature updates...
Although not quite dead, Windows 10 is approaching its final stage. In a recent blog post, Microsoft's Jason Leznek announced that there will be no more feature updates for Windows 10, and version 22H2 will be its final version. However, all editions will continue to receive monthly security updates until October 14, 2025, which is the previously announced end-of-support date. While the latest release of Windows 10, version 22H2, mainly consists of bug fixes, Microsoft's Windows 11 2022 Update, which is set to release later this year, offers new features that address accessibility and other less frequently used features. It is challenging to recommend upgrading to Windows 11 since Windows 10 is a great operating system, and there are only a few compelling reasons to make the switch. Nonetheless, it is now official that Windows 11 is the future, and Windows 10's time is coming to an end.
